4 Aug. Arthur James SHakEER The route starts next to the picturesque Roberts Park is a 12.8 km (approx. 8 miles) loop, multi terrain, following sections of the Leeds – Liverpool canal towpath but with an undulating woodland section Details
4 Aug. South Shields 10  The  popular South Shields 10 is a  challenge on multi terrain, including trails, grass and coastal paths. All finishers will receive a South Shields 10 Mile Race 2019 medal. Details
11Aug. Hanging Stone leap Starting at Guisborough rugby club there’s a choice of two distances – 13 and 24 miles, open to walkers and runners with a maximum time limit of ten hours.  Entry and details
18 Aug. Prudent Riverside 1/2 marathon (Lancaster)

A flat fast course using the network of paths that follow the river Lune.

31 Aug Skipton                      1/2 Marathon Trail The race starts with a climb over Sharphaw before dropping down to the picturesque village of Hetton.  On the return it climbs Sharphaw again then a 1 mile down hill run to the finish line. Entry

1 Sept.  Hornsea Running Festival Marathon, 1/2 marathon, 10 miles & 20 miles These races fill up quickly so if you fancy one of these you better enter now. Its a lovely scenic, traffic free out and back route, from Hornsea, through to Hull and back along the Transpennine Trail Entry Page
7 Sept.  Yorkshireman off-road marathon

The race starts on Main Street. There are four miles is on tarmac, then over a stream and across an open moor . The route continues across countryside, passing near Gatehouse and via Houghgate and Brookhouse reaching the halfway mark at the junction with the A629. The inward half starts along a footpath to Denholme Beck. Under a railway bridge to a reservoir, it then carries on through forest and across moorland to Hainworth Village and onto the last 1.2 miles onto the finish line.

8 Sept. Stockport Hatters 1/2 Marathon ( Greater Manchester) The route joins the Trans Pennine Trail at Woolpack Bridge and follows the River Mersey to Northenden, forming a loop at Ford Lane and Boat Lane in Northenden, and returning to the finish in Alexandra Park, Edgeley. 22 Sept RAFBF Spadeadam 1/2 Marathon The Half Marathon course winds its way around and through Spadeadam Forest with views over to the Lake District and Sycamore Gap on Hadrians Wall. With numerous RAF practise targets and tanks along the route, it is a run that offers a unique opportunity. The course is fully marked and marshalled. Details

28 Sept. Lakeland Four Passes The Lakeland Four Passes is a 19 mile circular route with over 5300ft of ascent which starts and finishes at Rosthwaite Village Hall in Borrowdale, at the southern end of Derwent Water. Details
28 Sept Reservoir Dogs Reservoir Dogs is a tour around 7 of the reservoirs that serve the Leeds area, starting with Lindley Wood Reservoir in North Yorkshire Details
29 Sept. Great Scottish Run The course starts in George Square in the city centre, before taking runners past some of Glasgow’s finest venues and buildings. Runner cross over the River Clyde, as well as a taking a trip through Pollok Park and Bellahouston Park, before heading back for the grandstand finish on Glasgow Green Details
29 Sept Hart Village Half marathon The route starts and finishes in Hart Village taking in Castle Eden Dene, Durham Coast, Crimdon Dene and the Hart to Haswell Walkway.



29 Sept. Pontefract half Marathon The start is at the Cornmarket, Pontefract Town Centre.  The course takes you out of Pontefract and into countryside through Ackworth, Wentbridge and Carlton before heading back towards the town, there’s a final lap of the centre before you finish Details

6 Oct. Chester Marathon voted at the 2018 Running Awards.  With a spectacular start and finish at Chester Racecourse, the route passes all Chester’s iconic landmarks, then heads out into the Cheshire & North Wales countryside, before returning along the banks of the River Dee Details
6 Oct. Great Cumbria run Starting at The Sheepmount Athletics Stadium in Carlisle the race will again take competitors out through the city centre towards Wetherall before turning back and returning through Scotby Village, Rickerby Park before a grandstand finish back at the Sheepmount Details

19 Oct Pen Y Gent Ultra (Hawes)  50K Start and finish is at the Hawes Market House and follows in the footsteps of Roman Legions over the Cam Road to Horton-In-Ribblesdale, then summiting Pen-y-Ghent, before returning along the Cam Road. Total distance 50 Km. Details
19 Oct. Langdale Marathon and half Marathon Claimed to be the toughest road marathon in the UK.  The Marathon is 2 laps of the 1/2 Marathon and has a total ascent of 3,400ft. Details
20 Oct. Yorkshire Marathon A popular and picturesque run with fantastic PB potential, The Plusnet Yorkshire Marathon takes over 7,000 runners past some of York’s most historic sites and along scenic traffic-free country lanes, making it an excellent race for runners of all abilities Details

27Oct. Ennerdale 50K &25K Trail Both routes are undulating and low level encompassing a mixture of technical single track, forest roads and lakeshore trails. The path surface along the south side of Ennerdale Water is very rough underfoot and rocky, with a short exposed scramble around Anglers Crag. More Information and Entry

10 Nov. Bolton Abbey  A trail-running event with a choice of distances This is a unique opportunity to run on a mixture of paths, tracks, woodland trails and open land on exclusive parts of the estate not usually accessible to the public. 16 Nov. Brecon Marathon and Ultra Starting and ending at Talybont on Usk this is and excellently organised and marked route.  The Ultra consists of 2 laps whereas the Marathon is 1 ultra loop but deviate to take in the two highest mountains in S. Wales before rejoining the Ultra route. Make no mistake the Marathon is tough in 2018 around half the entries to the marathon failed to complete hence the 9 hr cut off Details

9 Feb 2020 Brecon to Cardiff 44 Miles of lovely Welsh mountains and valleys to run through.  Claimed to be one of the easier Ultra’s though is there any ultra that’s easy in Brecon in February.  This is a one way run from Brecon down to Cardiff ( all down hill 🙂 lol Details
