||Sedgefield Serpentine 10K
||10km multi-terrain race starting and finishing at Sedgefield Cricket Club
||Staged in partnership with Sheffield City Council, this 10K has a fantastic course right through the heart of the Steel city.
||Redcar 2K 5K & 10K
||Part of the Redcar Festival and on the same day as the half marathon. Flat course so good for all levels of runners
||Wynyard Hall 10K & 2K
||Trail run around the grounds of Wynyard Hall
||Run along roads and tarmac footpaths north of Penrith
||The use of Kielder Water and Forest Park as the start/finish area making this a great 10K
||Turnpike Trot and Rabbit Run 10K & 5K
||One of the Hardmoors race series so could fill up fast. Both events are staged in the beautiful North York Moors amongst some of the most stunning scenery in the UK. Each Trail Race is well marked and marshalled so no navigational skills are needed.

||Shorter version of the Hardmoors 26.2 and half marathon routes. This one fills up extremely fast so if your considering it don’t hang back

||The road race follows an undulating route, out and back along the stunning Great Langdale valley, but its no easy course the organisers idea of undulating caught me out last year this is a tough course, but you do get a family size Christmas pudding !
