English Schools
Grace Rodgers has been selected to run for N.Yorks at the English Schools T&F championshipsto be held in July at Gateshead stadium. She is the first girl from the club to be selected for such a prestigious event. Her selection follows the inter counties event at York where she obtained the qualifying time in the 800m event. After 3 races where she failed to break 2-20 by tenths of a second she smashed through this barrier recording 2-17.2 secs which again breaks the club record. At the same event Megan Ellis also recorded a big pb in the 3000m event knocking 25secs off when she recorded a time of 10-42.6. The English Schools will be shown on Sky TV on 11th & 12th July.
