This year’s race takes place on Sunday 3rd June starting at 11a.m. Entries are now available
on Racebest with the fees being £10 attached and £12 unattached; there are no additional
admin fees.
Thanks to Wetherby Runners AC we already have 29 entries and this year we are hoping to
reach our limit of 200.
Yorkshire Vets Association are once again using this event as one of their summer series,
their race will run in conjunction with the main race, starting 10 minutes later.
Mulgrave Castle 10k offers athletes a chance to run in the Mulgrave Estate and is totally off-
road using the many paths and tracks throughout and features the medieval castle which dates
back to the 13 th Century.
The undulating nature of the course using the two valleys in the wood means it will not be a
10k pb course.
Registration, refreshments and changing facilities are all available at the race headquarters in
the Mulgrave Community Sports Pavilion situated in Lythe village.
Car parking will also be available at the centre and anyone wanting to incorporate the race
into a day or weekend out, Whitby is only 2 miles away and the beach and village of
Sandsend are at the bottom of Lythe bank.
