Mulgrave Castle 10K

Run through the private Mulgrave Estate near Sandsend beach, near Whitby. The woodland trail takes you past the old castle with stunning views of the coast and Whitby Abbey. Proceeds to Mulgrave Community Sports Association. This years Mulgrave race of approximately 10k  will take place on Sunday 9th June start time is 11am.   The race is chip timed and will  start and finish outside the iconic Mulgrave castle.  Refreshments at the race HQ will be available before and after the race and at the Prize giving .  The club has decided that this year’s entry fee will be £5 lower than last year and in recognition of the runners that complete this challenging course each finisher will receive a bespoke finishers medal.  There will be ample car parking available at a cost of £1 per car please follow the Marshals direction.

Mulgrave Terms and Conditions 

Participation

By participating in this event.  You agree that you are fit and well, physically capable of taking part in the Event and are solely responsible for your actions. Loftus and Whitby ac are not responsible for any injury or illness that you may suffer because of your participation in this event. You are responsible for informing the organiser of any medical or non-medical details that may affect your safety and enjoyment. All medical conditions will be treated in a confidential manner.

You accept all and full responsibility for your actions whilst participating in Mulgrave event. Loftus and Whitby ac will not be liable for any loss, damage, injury or illness howsoever caused as a result of participating in the event.

Race Entry

If you are unable to attend the event, for any reason whatsoever, Loftus and Whitby ac are unable to offer any refunds, in part or in whole, However, we will allow your entry to be transferred to friend or deferred to the next year. Any requested transfer must be made at least 1 week before the event and provide the organisers with the relevant information of the new competitor by email.

Competitors using someone else’s number can have serious consequences in the event of a medical emergency. The accuracy of the race results is also affected when competitors are placed in the wrong event, age or gender category.

Any competitor using someone else’s number will be disqualified.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel entry applications, or alter the date of the event, the course route or the distance.

In the unlikely event the Mulgrave race is cancelled to unforeseen circumstances you will be entitled to a full refund.

Data Protection

Any personal information you give to us will be processed in accordance with the UK Data Protection Act 2018. We will only use and share your information to process entries into the Event, ensuring your safety during the Event and keeping you informed by email.
